When Audemars Piguet introduced the Royal Oak Tourbillon Chronograph Squelette at the 2016 SIHH, the watch caused quite a stir, and rightfully so. Within the iconic octagonal case, crafted from platinum, was now a skeletonized tourbillon chronograph movement. A dream watch by any means!

Montblanc acquired Minerva in 2006 and renamed it Montblanc Manufacture in Villeret. While Montblanc changed the name of the watchmaker, it has in recent years used the Minerva heritage and name for several new models combining chronograph movements from Villeret for its watch models produced in Montblanc’s main manufacturing facility in Le Locle
