Today’s Haute Time Watch of the Day is the Richard Mille RM 018 “Hommage à Boucheron”. This tourbillon wristwatch was developed in conjunction with the artisans at Boucheron as a celebration of their 150th anniversary, and it is limited to just 30 numbered pieces in 18K white gold.
As a tribute to the jeweler’s craft, a number of wheels inside the RM 018’s movement were created from semi-precious and precious stones, including tiger-eye, jasper, black onyx and diamonds. Each wheel features a sunray pattern profile created entirely by hand in Boucheron’s atelier in Place Vendôme, Paris.
The case of the RM 018 is 48mm x 39.70mm at its widest point and 12.80mm at its thickest area, and it houses a manual winding CALIBER RM 018 with power reserve, hours, minutes.
