This unique timepiece by Parmigiani Fleurier celebrates the music culture along with the marquetry details used in creating the dial. The round 42 mm case is 18K polished rose gold and houses a PF 510 hand-wound movement with a tourbillon, hours, minutes, central seconds and one week power reserve functions.
The dial features a Gibson guitar motif created in wood marquetry. The detail and artistry on the dial took 10 days of work to create and consists of more than 50 pieces of dyed wood, resulting in an amazing design. The tourbillon which is not only visible on the Tonda dial, also appears as the guitar’s sound box, bringing the piece to life.
The Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda Woodstock features a sapphire crystal and case back and is water resistant to 30 meters. Shown here on an Hermes alligator strap with folding buckle, The Tonda Woodstock is engraved “Model Unique”, “MJF” and “USA” to mark the rarity of this piece.
