To celebrate Offset's success, Haute Living hosted an intimate dinner at Atlanta’s Cape Dutch restaurant partners Roger Dubuis, Louis XIII and JetSmarter.

Let's be honest; a partnership between a car manufacturer and a watch brand isn't always a good idea. When the aim is purely a commercial one and more an exchange of logos rather than a true understanding of each others DNA, failure is often just around the corner. That is why the alliance between Roger Dubuis and Lamborghini is such an exciting one because it has everything but is lacking the logos!

When 2019 has barely started, SIHH is scheduled to open its doors. From January 14th to 18th the exhibiting brands will delight us with the most mesmerizing new creations. Traditionally many of those brands also launch a few new watches before the show. While impressive, they usually keep the real fireworks until the fair itself. Given the very high level of the watches that they have already introduced, 2019 is bound to going to be an amazing year in watches!

In the world of Roger Dubuis, only the best is good enough. This also becomes clear when you look at the 'Velvet,' their collection of ladies watches. They are as rich as the fabric that inspired its name, combining exquisite craftsmanship, eye for detail as well as a superb movement, all in an original design.

At Haute Time we see experience and photograph a lot of watches from the leading brands on a daily basis. Over the years this has resulted in an incredible database of the most beautiful pictures of the most astonishing watches. Roger Dubuis, Pirelli, Lamborghini: three iconic names in their respected fields that come together in a unique event. In the 'Run to Monaco', they are taking some of the world's most exclusive and exotic cars in an epic road trip through the south of France to the principality of Monaco. Last year Haute Time participated in this high-octane, high-speed event, driving a Lamborghini Aventador, of course, fitted with Pirelli tires.

King Arthur's knights are back and have joined Roger Dubuis once again for a new (limited) edition of the Excalibur Knights of the Round Table. In the third version of this unique series, the knights are distinctly more futuristic, as is the environment in which they gather.

One of the conclusions of the report is that large, well-funded companies that already have strong brand recognition are doing much better than smaller brands. That advantage is reinforced among luxury holding companies, which again benefit from having big pockets

The Salon Internationale de Haute Horlogerie, or SIHH, featured this year again a stunning line-up of the most beautiful watches. More then recent years the brands seem to be in touch with their own DNA, which resulted in a very pure watches that truly represented their brand, rather than just a trend. In such a company it is hard to call favorites, yet there where still some watches that grabbed our attention just a bit more than others.

If you had a need for speed, the booth of Roger Dubuis was the place to be during SIHH 2018! Completely dedicated to the partnerships that the brand has with both Lamborghini, as well as Pirelli, it introduced exciting new versions of both the Excalibur Spider Pirelli, as well as the Excalibur Aventador S.

In 2017 Roger Dubuis truly cemented its connection with the world of high-performance cars. Not only entered a unique alliance with Lamborghini, and introduced two amazing watches to mark the occasion, they also joined forces with Pirelli. One of our favorite watches from that collection is the Excalibur Spider Pirelli Double Flying Tourbillon.

Granted, these skeletons are not very scary, so that might make them even more perfect for your closet because they will complement a large range of outfits. Skeleton watches have always been quite a challenge to make, as you cut away what a watch so desperately needs: the stability of the main plate and bridges. That makes skeleton watches almost like a walk on the high wire for watchmakers, and so enticing for the rest of us!
