Blancpain Unveils Valentine’s Day Model

Every year since 2001, Blancpain has introduced a special Valentine’s Day model for women. This week the manufacture unveiled its 2014 model.

The Valentine’s Day 2014 model is a 33mm three-hand watch featuring a diamond-clad bezel white a mother-of-pearl dial with two engraved hearts and a red transferred heart. It is framed by an embroidery-like border, with hour-markers at 12, 6 and 9 o’clock, interspersed with seven chatons and a date display at 3 o’clock. The hands are white gold hands. At its heart is the Blancpain Calibre 1150, which is equipped with a silicon balance-spring that is non-magnetic and maintains a more constant rate over time. This piece is completed by a white leather strap.

The 2014 Valentine’s Day will be limited to an edition of 99 pieces.
