Rolex has a new address on one of the most expensive shopping streets in Paris, and this time it kept the keys in the family. Bucherer, the Swiss retailer Rolex agreed to acquire in 2023, has opened its first dedicated Rolex boutique in France at 283 Rue Saint-Honoré, a two-floor flagship on the corner of Rue Royale. The new Rolex boutique Paris collectors have been waiting for opened in October, and Bucherer announced it on its own channels on October 16, 2026.

The location says plenty on its own. This stretch of Saint-Honoré, where it meets Rue Royale, is already one of the densest watch corners in the city, with Audemars Piguet, Wempe, and Chronopassion all a short walk away. The building most recently housed a fashion flagship, and Bucherer has turned it into roughly 363 square meters of retail space split almost evenly between two levels.
Inside the Rolex Boutique Paris Flagship
The ground floor is given over to new Rolex watches, while the upper level is quieter and more private. Clients climb a sculpted staircase in green Tinos marble to reach presentation salons, private and semi-private consultation rooms, an after-sales reception, and a hospitality bar. Travertine runs through the space, laid in a herringbone pattern on the floor and carved into columns and fluted walls, warmed by solid American walnut, marble, and metal accents. Deep green bands frame the street-facing windows.

The most telling room, in our view, is the one devoted to Rolex Certified Pre-Owned. The program, which sees Rolex authenticate secondhand watches and reissue them with a two-year international guarantee, now has its own dedicated space upstairs, much as it does at Bucherer’s multi-brand store on Boulevard des Capucines. Giving pre-owned watches a room of their own in a flagship this prominent is a clear signal that Rolex sees certified secondhand sales as a core part of the business rather than a side project.

There is a strategic story here, too. When Rolex opened a flagship in London, it handed the project to a retail partner. In Paris, it gave the job to a retailer it owns outright, and Bucherer continues to operate as an independently managed business within the Rolex group. The opening follows the Tudor boutique Bucherer opened on the Champs-Élysées earlier this year, and it gives Rolex a far more direct hand in how its watches are presented and sold in one of Europe’s most important luxury capitals.

For anyone who has spent years being told the waitlist is long, a calm upstairs salon and a well-stocked pre-owned room may be the most welcome detail of all.
