IWC Dominates the 2026 Miami F1 Grand Prix

It was a major weekend for Kimi Antonelli in Miami. IWC Schaffhausen and Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One™ Team driver Kimi Antonelli hosted a kick-off event ahead of the Miami Grand Prix race weekend.

On Wednesday, April 29th, IWC Schaffhausen brought a dose of precision engineering and Formula One energy to the Miami Design District ahead of race weekend, hosting an intimate gathering with Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS’s rising star and current championship leader, Kimi Antonelli. Friends of the brand, local figures, and their families filled the space, setting the tone for a weekend defined as much by conversation as by competition.

The evening culminated with a fireside chat with Antonelli, who offered a measured glimpse into life at the top of the grid, his experience as a racer, and his work with IWC Schaffhausen; a natural alignment as both driver and watchmaker operate in worlds where fractions of a second and microscopic tolerances make big differences.

Returning from a dynamic showcase at Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026, guests of the evening had the opportunity to discover for the first time in the United States IWC Schaffhausen’s latest creations.
