A vibrant new collaboration between Bucherer and H. Moser & Cie. brings the spirit of Miami to haute horlogerie with the unveiling of the Pioneer Tourbillon Miami. Inspired by the city’s unmistakable palette of sunlight, ocean blues, and the pastel architecture of South Beach, the timepiece translates Miami’s visual energy into a refined mechanical creation. Designed as a bold expression of both craftsmanship and contemporary style, the watch merges daring color with the technical sophistication that defines Swiss watchmaking. Produced in an extremely limited series of just twenty eight pieces worldwide, it represents a rare collector’s piece shaped by creativity and precision.

The design language of the Pioneer Tourbillon Miami begins with its captivating dial, where color becomes the central narrative. A deep blue fumé dial forms the visual foundation, presenting a rich gradient that shifts from lighter tones at the center into darker oceanic hues toward the outer edge. The finish reflects light in a dynamic way, echoing the shimmering surface of the Atlantic under Miami’s bright skies. The dial’s color depth gives the watch a sense of motion and vibrancy, creating a constantly evolving play of reflections as light moves across the surface.

Encircling the dial is a vivid pink flange that introduces an unexpected yet perfectly balanced contrast. The tone draws inspiration from the colorful façades and lively atmosphere of South Beach, bringing a contemporary edge to the watch’s design. Rather than dominating the composition, the pink accent frames the dial in a way that intensifies the blue fumé gradient while reinforcing the watch’s dynamic personality.

Legibility remains a priority despite the expressive color palette. Leaf shaped hour and minute hands are coated with green Super LumiNova, ensuring clarity even in low light conditions. The luminous treatment also introduces a subtle yet striking chromatic element that complements the blue and pink tones of the dial, completing a visual composition that feels modern, energetic, and unmistakably distinctive.

At six o’clock, the dial opens to reveal the watch’s mechanical centerpiece. The flying one minute tourbillon is displayed beneath a skeletonised bridge, allowing the intricate mechanism to become part of the watch’s visual architecture. As the tourbillon cage rotates, it creates a hypnotic display of mechanical motion that reflects the watchmaker’s commitment to both engineering and artistry. This transparent construction brings depth and complexity to the dial while reinforcing the technical pedigree of the piece.

Beneath the expressive design lies a movement built with uncompromising attention to precision. The Pioneer Tourbillon Miami is powered by the automatic manufacture calibre HMC 805, developed in house by H. Moser & Cie. Operating at twenty one thousand six hundred vibrations per hour, the movement offers a power reserve of at least three days, ensuring reliable performance while maintaining elegant mechanical efficiency.

A defining feature of the movement is the proprietary double hairspring system, produced by Precision Engineering, the brand’s sister company. This innovative architecture improves stability and enhances accuracy by minimizing the effects of gravitational distortion on the balance spring. By using two hairsprings working in harmony, the system creates a more balanced oscillation that supports consistent timekeeping, a hallmark of high level watchmaking.

The movement can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back, where the finishing reveals the brand’s dedication to detail. The oscillating weight, crafted from eighteen carat gold and engraved with the H. Moser logo, rotates smoothly as it powers the bi directional pawl winding system. The view offers collectors a glimpse into the mechanical heart of the watch, transforming the back of the case into an exhibition of horological artistry.

Encasing the movement is a stainless steel case engineered to combine durability with refined proportions. Measuring forty millimeters in diameter, the watch offers a balanced wrist presence that suits both sporty and elegant environments. The case height measures approximately ten point four millimeters without the sapphire crystal and twelve millimeters including the domed sapphire crystal, giving the watch a sleek profile while preserving structural strength.

The Pioneer collection has always been defined by its resilience, and the Tourbillon Miami continues that tradition. With water resistance rated to twelve atmospheres and a screw down crown engraved with the signature “M,” the watch is designed to perform confidently in everyday situations. This robust construction ensures that the timepiece maintains its functionality even while showcasing a complex tourbillon mechanism within.

Completing the design is a pink rubber strap that echoes the vibrant flange on the dial. The strap enhances the sporty character of the watch while providing comfort and flexibility for daily wear. Each piece is also delivered with an additional white rubber strap, offering owners the option to shift the aesthetic from bold vibrancy to a cleaner, more understated look while maintaining the watch’s distinctive personality.

The Bucherer Exclusive H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Tourbillon Miami stands as a creative tribute to one of the world’s most dynamic cities. Through its striking palette, technical sophistication, and refined mechanical architecture, the watch captures the spirit of Miami while remaining firmly rooted in the traditions of Swiss watchmaking.

Available exclusively at selected Bucherer boutiques beginning April twenty eighth, twenty twenty six, the timepiece is limited to only twenty eight pieces worldwide. This rare production ensures that each example becomes a sought after collector’s watch, uniting expressive design with exceptional craftsmanship in a creation that celebrates color, precision, and the enduring artistry of haute horlogerie.
