Designed by Prof. F. A. Porsche, the original Porsche 911 and the iconic Chronograph I share a visionary creator and a passion for excellence. Porsche Design has maintained a steadfast commitment to creating timepieces that perfectly complement the car’s aesthetic. Emphasizing the symbiotic relationship between the two worlds, the Chronograph 1 – 911 S/T flawlessly translates the features of the Porsche 911 S/T into a captivating timepiece.

The chronograph’s lightweight uncoated and sandblasted titanium case draws inspiration from the Porsche 911 S/T’s lightweight design philosophy. The black dial and bezel ring mirror the historical display instruments of the 911 S/T, while a striking red number “60” commemorates the anniversary. The glowing phosphorous green numbers, bilingual day display, and date enhance the watch’s legibility, resembling the rev counter pointer. An intricate gear-shift diagram in silver or gold, depending on the version, further underscores the connection to the manual special edition.

Powering the Chronograph 1 – 911 S/T is the COSC-certified Porsche Design WERK 01.240 movement, boasting a flyback function. This extraordinary movement guarantees accurate timekeeping, reflecting the precision and performance of its counterpart, the Porsche 911 S/T with its high-speed naturally aspirated engine and six-speed GT sports manual transmission. The watch undergoes rigorous COSC testing at the manufactory, ensuring unparalleled precision, a testament to Porsche Design’s commitment to quality.

The interior leather and yarn used in the strap create a seamless connection between the sports car and the chronograph. Uniting traditional craftsmanship with modern motorsport technology, the strap embodies the lightweight design ethos of the 911 S/T. The uncoated and sand-blasted titanium strap with a finely adjusting folding clasp minimizes the watch’s weight, accentuating the emphasis on performance.

With a limited availability of 1,963 pieces, each Chronograph 1 – 911 S/T comes with a unique watch plaque featuring the 911 S/T image and individual limitation number. Available for order from Porsche Centers and Porsche Design Stores from August 2, 2023, the Chronograph 1 – 911 S/T retails at $13,500 (RRP), making it a treasured addition to any Porsche enthusiast’s collection. Celebrating the bond between two design icons, this exquisite timepiece reflects the relentless pursuit of excellence that has defined the Porsche 911 and Porsche Design for decades.
