Mulliner Introduces Bentley Blackline Continental GT and GT Convertible.

Bentley Mulliner is known throughout the automobile industry for crafting some of the most individual Bentleys ever created. They have hand-built more than 1000 unique cars for customers that are completely suited to their personality. The latest to the catalogue is the Bentley Blackline Continental GT and GT Convertible that features a stunning black chrome work. This Blackline external treatment is slated to be an option across the entire Bentley range.

A bold, black alternative to the exterior chrome-work on Bentley’s Grand Tourer, Blackline is a glimpse into a mysterious side to the ultra-luxury brand’s popular four-seater. It also accompanies the possibility of complementing the customization of the clients.

Created by skilled artisans at Mulliner, the GT Mulliner Blackline features a lot of changes from its predecessors. The new option now covers over 40 per cent of the global Continental GT orders. Except for the Bentley ‘Winged B’ badge and the radiator grille bezel, everything is painted black, while the satin silver upper mirror caps are finished in gloss Beluga black.

The signature Mulliner matrix wing vents also take the black colour and are finished with bright Mulliner branding. Finally, the radiator grille and the lower bumper grilles remain black with bright edges. The GT Mulliner Blackline also feature 22” painted black rims, with self-levelling badges featuring a chrome ring. There is also an option to install contrast polished ‘pockets’ in the future.

The striking interior of the GT Mulliner Blackline remains unchanged from the existing Mulliner edition. The customers can choose one of eight recommended three-colour combinations across Bentley’s avid range of hides and threads.

As per the standard Mulliner Driving Specification, the interior features Bentley’s unique “Diamond in Diamond” quilting – that uses almost 400,000 stitches in the cabin of each car, featuring both contrast and accent stitching running through the diamond layout. Each diamond contains exactly 712 individual stitches, all precisely aligned to point to the centre of the diamond it creates – a true mark of unrivalled automotive craftsmanship by the automaker!

Depending on the region, customers can choose between Bentley’s now iconic 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 that delivers 635 PS (626 bhp), or the dynamic 4.0-litre V8, delivering 550 PS (542 bhp).

With the Blackline version, we are sure that Bentle Mulliner Collections will continue to offer exceptional luxury vehicles of the core range and have the opportunity to customize and further enhance their Bentley.
