Our site features several Waterproof Watches For Men, including Rolex’s Monometer and Submariner, and the water resistant Patek Philippe Nautilus Men’s 5980.

Rolex’s Monometer is considered to be the pre-cursor of the iconic Submariner, the first watch guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metros (330 feet). The Monometer, equipped with the same graduated rotating bezel used on today’s Submariner to indicate diving time, is housed in an oyster Turnograph case. Only four of these ultra-rare models have been seen on the market in the last twenty years. This exceptional timepiece, which presents the rare opportunity to complete an early Submariner collection, is expected to fetch between US$33,000 – US$45,000.

The Rolex Submariner has a storied history in the world of Haute horlogerie. First introduced in 1953, the Submariner was the first timepiece to be guaranteed waterproof. The first model, which could withstands depths of up to 100 meters (330 feet), became to the go-to for divers, military personnel and even our favorite fictional spy, James Bond. Since its debut, the Submariner has become one of Rolex’s best-selling timepieces, with vintage models highly coveted by watch aficionados.

From Patek Philippe’s Nautilus Collection comes the Men’s 5980, an impressive, mechanical, self-winding timepiece equipped with a Caliber CH 28-520C movement. The Nautilus 5980 features a 40.5 mm stailess steel case. The Nautilus 5980 is a chronograph, with a 60 minute and 12-hour monocounter visible at the 6 o’clock position on the dial. The Patek Philippe Nautilus is a combination of style, design and craftmanship, with its eye catching black dial which also features gold applied hour markers with luminiscent coating and a date aperture at the 3 o’clock position. The Patek Philippe Nautilus 5980 is shown on a stainless steel bracelet and also features sapphire crystal and caseback, and is water resistant to 120 meters.
