Hublot and Haute Living Host Birthday Bash for DJ Khaled

To cap off an eventful week at Miami Beach’s Art Basel 2016, Hublot and Haute Living created a very special night for hip-hop star and social media sensation DJ Khaled to celebrate his birthday.

The star-studded night was made even more memorable when Hublot Global CEO Ricardo Guadalupe gifted the star a unique Hublot Big Bang Unico King Gold, jewelry bracelet. The one-of-a-kind timepiece is decked out in diamonds with Khaled’s label name, “We the Best” engraved on the back, complete with impressive detailing of tiny gold keys within the face of the timepiece. Khaled flaunted the dazzling gift to the millions of viewers who follow him on his snapchat, dubbing the watch the “Khaled-Hublot Key Edition.”

After the presentation of the watch in the just-opened, exclusive upstairs lounge of Komodo, guests moved downstairs to the mezzanine for a lavish meal where highlight footage of DJ Khaled played on a large LED screen throughout dinner. Close friends of Khaled joined in to celebrate the star, including Tyson Beckford, Young Jeezy, Carnage, E-Class, Starino, DJ Ruckus, Shanina Shaik, Kent Jones and more. Dave Grutman also stopped by with Jonathan Cheban to wish Khaled a happy birthday. Other notable attendees included artists Domingo Zapata and Mr. Brainwash, Black Jaguar-White Tiger founder Eduardo Serio, President of Hublot Latin America Rick De La Croix, President of Hublot North America Jean-Francois Sberro, Haute Living CEO Kamal Hotchandani and more.

Before the end of the night, DJ Khaled received two more special birthday gifts. The first was a beautiful portrait created by famed contemporary artist, Domingo Zapata. Next, he received a stylish pair of black Lavati shoes from co-designers Davidson Petit-Frère and Yossi Benshetrit, who partnered with Hublot in the night to gift Khaled with a new pair of kicks in honor of his birthday.

To put a fitting end to the evening, the Komodo staff made sure to leave Khaled with one last final key to success–specifically, in the form of a birthday cake. The entire dinner erupted in song to sing Khaled “Happy Birthday” as a giant key-shaped birthday cake was delivered out to him, putting sweet end to the evening, to which, Khaled said, “I like that,” as he enjoyed his dessert and then departed with his group to finish off the night with a celebration at LIV.
