Women who like to make fashion statements with the style of their watch might have to re-consider the present fashion movements that have long embraced the use of tourbillons in timepieces. Chanel has unveiled its stylish flying tourbillon watch piece for ladies to mark the commencement of its first watches over 25 years ago. The premium Camélia Flying Tourbillon is slated to advance the fashion scene in the ladies watch segment with an intricate device that has been always been reserved for the male watch category, by combining jewelry-making skills with technical intelligence.

The introduction of this exclusive Flying Tourbillon marks Chanel’s approach to re-define the fascination women have for watches that goes beyond time keeping. Only 20 of these limited editions watches will be put on the market.

Chanel’s opening collection of the octagonal geometrically shaped ‘Flying Tourbillon’ was motivated by the celebrated Chanel No. 5 perfume bottle and the distinguished Place Vendôme. The design is a result of Chanel’s combined effort with Swiss watchmakers, Renaud &Papi. Chanel earlier revealed its Chanel Joaillerie Spring 2012 collection complete with exceptional diamond studded pieces to celebrate its 80th Anniversary.
