VIEREN Turns Five With a One-of-One Artist Collection
Independent watchmaker VIEREN is celebrating its fifth anniversary by merging art and horology in a way that feels entirely its own. The Canadian-founded, Swiss-made brand has unveiled the V Collection, a capsule of five one-of-a-kind automatic watches, each created in collaboration with an international artist and united by a monochrome palette.

The project revisits VIEREN’s very first design—the OG Automatic Matte White—reimagined as a canvas for five radically different creative voices. From James Goldcrown’s beloved “Bleeding Hearts” to Kelly Violet’s darkly romantic florals, every watch translates the intangible concept of time into a personal, hand-painted vision. Parisian artist Sébastien Preschoux offers dizzying optical illusions, Italian talent Roberta Boffo balances intricate fashion-inspired linework, while Polish collective Cosmodernism explores surrealist, retro-futurist patterns in motion.

True to the brand’s roots in Swiss craftsmanship, each piece is handcrafted in La Chaux-de-Fonds and powered by a bespoke ETA 2671 automatic movement. Exhibition casebacks reveal the mechanics within, etched with the artist’s signature to underscore the singular nature of the design.

For collectors, the presentation is just as considered as the watches themselves. Creative Director Sunny Fong designed the V Collection Art Crate—a matte black wood case lined in white canvas—that positions the five timepieces in a sculptural “V” formation, more installation than packaging.

Available individually for $9,000 or as a complete set for $42,500, the collection reflects Founder and CEO Jess Chow’s vision: time not just kept, but transformed into art.
