Last week we brought you a look at what some of the greatest tennis stars on Earth wear on their wrists on and off the court. One of those was Stanislas Wawrinka- an Audemars Piguet brand ambassador who wears his watch during play. Yesterday, Wawrinka won the title — and kissed the cup – wearing his pink-strapped anthracite gray-dialed $26,000 Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph. The 31-year-old (the oldest male on the US Open champion tour), Wawrinka beat famed Novak Djokovic in four sets and about four hours — claiming his third Grand Slam title.

Wawrinka is fond of color-coordinating his outfits. Not only did he have Audemars Piguet create a special strap for the US Open, but he also had the brand created a lemon yellow/lime green strap for Roland Garros in 2015 to coordinate with that attire. Maybe the concept brings him some luck. He will need the Wimbledon title to complete a full sweep of the Grand Slams — let’s see how the color looks then.
