This week luxury watchmaker Ulysse Nardin opened their first boutique in Switzerland. The new Geneva location is the first mono-brand boutique in the country for the Swiss manufacture, which is based in the nearby town of Le Locle.

Ulysse Nardin’s new boutique is located on the banks of Geneva’s prestigious Quai des Bergues, a fitting location considering the brand’s iconic collection of marine chronometers. The nautical-inspired boutique features the manufacture’s collections and models from the Limited Edition Boutique Exclusive line, such as the Blue Toro, the Freak Diavolo Platinum, and the Blue Executive Dual Time watches.

Patrik Hoffmann, the CEO of Ulysse Nardin, told us, “The opening of the Ulysse Nardin Boutique in Geneva marks another milestone in our history as it is our 18th boutique world-wide and the first in Central Europe and morever the first in Switzerland, the very heart of the watchmaking industry. As an extremely innovativeand independent manufacture, it was important for us to open the boutique together with a long time partner who we found with Chronométrie Kunz, an independent retailer, with a recognized experience of more than 100 years carried forward over 4 generations since 1896 in Geneva. When Sophie and Clarina Kunz approached us with the idea of opening a boutique together last Spring, it didn’t take us long to agree and go forward with the planning and the concept, which represents not only fine watchmaking but also reveals part of our important heritage in the manufacture of Marine timepiece.”
