In order to better serve guests staying at Singapore’s many luxury hotels, Richard Mille has opened a new boutique in the lobby of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.
The brand’s new 116 sqm concept boutique employs a similar theme found in other Richard Mille boutiques seen across the world. A large, floating 3D sculpture of a watch engraved in glass greets guests as they enter the shop and give’s visitors a glimpse into the refined mechanisms that drive the brand’s complex watches.
The new boutique is Richard Mille’s third in Singapore, and is as impressive as the brand’s watches. Mélanie Treton-Monceyron, the brand’s artistic director uses multiple variations of shape, material and colour in its design.
The cream tone of Sophie Mallebranche’s contemporary woven metal and the surprising material of broken glass form an interesting contrast with the brown shades of the traditional Macassar ebony.
The ceiling is softly illuminated, enlivened by gentle curves which synchronize with the interplay of colours on the walls. Another feature is a a comfortable and spacious VIP area, where clients can mingle over a glass of champagne or sip tea.
The latest Singapore boutique holds a comprehensive range of Richard Mille timepieces, including its lifestyle and ladies collection, highly complicated tourbillon pieces, new launches, as well as Asia Editions, exclusive to all its boutiques only in Asia.
The brand’s most exceptional watches are displayed in 8 W-towers and many other showcases throughout the new boutique giving the visitors a sense of walking through an expansive art gallery.
