Richard Mille watches are on an expansion drive to develop their network of boutiques worldwide, and their recently opened boutique in Monaco is proof once again that prime locations go hand-in-hand with the Haute Horlogerie watchbrand. Following the opening this May of their boutique in Paris on the very smart avenue Matignon known for its fine art galleries and home to Christie’s auction house, just a few steps away from the Presidential Elysée Palace, Richard Mille watches have opened their first exclusive boutique in Monaco under the luxurious arches of the Place du Casino opposite the Café de Paris, sharing their location with the legendary Casino de Monte-Carlo.

It is befitting that this watch brand launched in 2001, known for its precision engineering, technical excellence, and innovative and high-tech materials inspired by the aeronautical and automobile industries, finds its place in Monaco just a short walk away from the Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit. The entrance to the boutique on the pedestrian Allée François Blanc provides a relative calm from the hustle and bustle of Monte-Carlo, preparing visitors for the refined and luxurious atmosphere that Richard Mille boutiques provide. With a global design concept that reflects the aesthetics and materials found in Richard Mille watches, the interior is an artistic mélange of cracked glass and cream-coloured metal woven with a base of high-tech metal threads, created by French Archi-Designer Sophie Mallebranche.

Richard Mille and Peter Harrison, CEO of Richard Mille Europe Middle East and Africa were there to welcome visitors for the official opening, thrilled with the location that so aptly reflects the influence of Formula 1 in the design and production of Richard Mille watches. And, said Peter Harrison, “Monaco is (also) a luxurious and world renowned destination in its own right.” Among the guests were brand partners Felipe Massa and Pastor Maldonado. Inside the boutique, they were able to see such timepieces as the RM 014 Tourbillon Black Ceramic, the Ladies RM 07-01 Polo Club Saint Tropez and other Limited Editions such as the RM 011 Felipe Massa Black Night, as well as the RM 028 Titanium Automatic Diver’s Watch and the RM 07-01White Ceramic for ladies, both shown here, and more.
