Ralph Lauren has long been at the top of the fashion industry, but the designer is now conquering the automobile world as well. Lauren was recently presented with an award at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, the most prestigious vintage cars Concours d’Elegance in the world.

Lauren’s Bugatti Atlantic 57SC, a lovingly restored classic model, won the won the “Coppa d’Oro” for best car. Lauren’s wife Ricky joined the designer as he accepted the award at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, which takes place each year in Lake Como, Italy.

Bugatti created Type 57s from 1934 to 1940, with fewer than a thousand ever produced. Today, only two of the Atlantic models survive; one in the Mullin Automotive Museum and the other owned by Lauren. This vehicle is estimated to be worth between $30-40 million.
