Luxury watchmaker Officine Panerai is set to make its debut at the London Design Festival. Conceived by Sir John Sorrell and Ben Evans, the London Design Festival is one of the world’s most important annual design events, with more than 300 events and exhibitions.

The Swiss manufacture has joined prominent designers like Nigel Coates, Tom Dixon and Jonathan Adler in creating an exhibition, called The Design of Time. Officine Panerai will stage exclusive watchmaking sessions, offering designers and watch collectors rare insight into the design of the manufacture’s mechanical movements. According to the London Design Festival, the workshop will be lead by Officine Panerai’s top horologists.

The Design of Time will run from September 14 to 15, with 45 minute sessions from 10am to 5pm.

The Design of Time will be held at the Art Studio in the Sackler Centre, V&A, Cromwell Road, South Kensington, SW7 2RL. The workshops are free but tickets are required. To book tickets call +020 7907 7073 or visit the London Design Festival website. Photo courtesy the London Design Festival.
