As the official partner of the Film Society of Lincoln Center, luxury watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre supported the 40th Anniversary Chaplin Award Gala in New York City earlier this week. Following the announcement of its multi-year partnership and launch of the upcoming Filmmaker in Residence initiative, Jaeger-LeCoultre sponsored the gala at Avery Fisher Hall in the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts.

A bevy of stars turned out for the event, including Liza Minnelli, Tony Bennet, Michael Douglas, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Stiller, Blythe Danner. Iconic singer and actress Barbra Streisand received the prestigious 40th Chaplin Award, presented by former President Bill Clinton. Rose Kuo, the Executive Director of the Film Society of Lincoln Center, told us, “We are thrilled to be working with Jaeger-LeCoultre, and excited to share such an important initiative as the Filmmaker in Residence program with such an esteemed partner. The new initiative will allow the Film Society and Jaeger-LeCoultre to both deepen their support for filmmakers and offer that support at an earlier stage in the creative process.”

A number of famous faces attended the event wearing Jaeger-LeCoultre, including French actress Catherine Deneuve, who received the prestigious Award last year, who wore her Master Ultra Thin watch. Screen legend Liza Minnelli wore a Grande Reverso Lady Ultra Thin Duetto in Pink Gold, while actor Jeremy Irons wore a Grande Reverso Calendar watch in Pink Gold.
