Hublot is getting into the holiday spirit! On December 7, the luxury watchmaker presented the new Big Bang Hublot Zegg & Cerlati Yellow Gold at the Bal de Noël de Monte Carlo in Monaco.

The Monte Carlo Christmas Ball, which opens the winter season on “The Rock” (as Monaco is affectionately known to locals), was the perfect occasion for the presentation of Hublot’s new timepiece. The event, which is under the high patronage of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, adopted a Yellow Gold & White Christmas theme which saw the prestigious Empire Room of the Hotel de Paris decorated with a thousand decorative lights and a stunning tree. During the ball, a number of chosen guests were invited to attend an auction by Sotheby’s in aid of Action Innocence Monaco, as well as a tombola (raffle). Andrea T Mendoza, resident DJ at the Billionaire Club, set the dancefloor alight.

Based on an idea by Tina Zegg and Carlo Cerlati, this timepiece is available in all-yellow or red gold versions, as well as an all-steel version. The Big Bang Hublot Zegg & Cerlati Yellow Gold features a 44mm case, a tone-on-tone mirror-polished dial and a brilliant yellow gold-colored tone-on-tone calfskin strap. The openwork caseback with sapphire crystal showcases the HUB4100 Mechanical automatic chronograph movement.

The Big Bang Zegg & Cerlati will be produced in three limited editions; 50 pieces of the 18K yellow gold version; 50 pieces of the 18K red gold version; and 100 pieces of the steel version. This model will be available exclusively at the Zegg & Cerlati boutiques in Place du Casino in Monte Carlo, Ischgl in Austria and Samnaun in Switzerland.
