Luxury watchmaker Hublot has teamed up with Colombia’s most famous soccer player, Radamel Falcao García, on a new collaboration with Puma. The result is special edition King Gold and Titanium models which will bear the name “Classic Fusion Falcao”.

The timepiece was unveiled by Falcao and Hublot during an event at the Bogota Hotel Hilton. The soccer superstar was joined by Colombia’s United Nations representative Bo Mathiasen, the Ambassador of the United States Michael McKinley and his wife Fátima McKinley, Hernán Zajar, Peter Manjarres, Clemencia Gregory, Andrea Guerrero and Sandra Bessudo. During the event, Falcao’s wife Lorelei surprised guests by performing a song alongside singer Alex Campos. Falcao is one of a select group of footballers chosen by the United Nations to help combat organised crime and drug trafficking. So as part of this collaboration, a portion of the revenue from every Hublot Falcao piece sold will go towards improving the living conditions in the soccer player’s birthplace, Grand Lagoon of Santa Marta.

The Hublot Falcao watch begins with a 45mm-diameter case with two push-buttons on either side of the crown. The dial features a small second counter at 3 o’clock, a 30-minute counter at 9 o’clock, and a date window at 6 o’clock. Falcao’s signature is also featured at 6 o’clock. The Hublot Falcao watch is completed by a flexible strap.

Only 100 pieces of the Hublot Falcao watch will be created (60 pieces in titanium and 40 pieces in gold), with each piece to be sold in a unique casing that includes a pair of limited edition PUMA evoSPEED 1.2 FG soccer cleats signed by Falcao. Prices will range from $17,000 to $40,000.
