Celebrating an eight year partnership (and counting), Hublot and Ferrari came together and celebrated at Mugello Racetrack in Tuscany, during the Finali Mondiali. The Finali Mondiali marked the end of the 2019 Ferrari Racing world championship—including the Ferrari Challenge, as well as the XX and F1 Clienti Programs—of which Hublot has been a proud affiliate since 2012.

“An electric atmosphere, filled with passion,” began Ricardo Guadalupe, Global CEO of Hublot. “Something our friends from across the Alps are experts at creating! This year, the Ferrari Finali Mondiali had a noticeably festive air to mark the 90th anniversary of Scuderia Ferrari. Hublot was proud to join the celebrations, to recognize the eight fantastic years it has worked alongside the Prancing Horse.”

Impressive vehicles from three continents made their way to the track—including a number of Ferrari road cars, racing cars and premier class F1 Clienti cars—drawing a huge crowd to join in on all the racing fun and admire the unparalleled features of the XX and F1 models, part of the Corse Clienti program. Hublot—the official partner to the iconic Ferrari brand—had a prominent presence at the event: on the track, the signature safety car with flashing warning lights even touted Hublot coloring.

Additionally, the luxury Swiss watch manufacturer showcased its Classic Fusion Ferrari GT watch—an horological marvel that so beautifully marked its partnership with the Prancing Horse—much to the spectators’ delight. Designed by Flavio Manzoni, Director of the “Centro Stile Ferrari,” the watch is spectacular, with its 45mm “double” case, which “floats” above the wrist with its six Hublot screw attachment, its Unico calibre HUB1281 manufacture movement, and its flyback chronograph with column wheel, visible on the dial side. Available in in titanium, King Gold and 3D Carbon, “polymer matrix composite (PMC) with three-dimensional woven fiber reinforcement” is used for the first time—something that the motor racing industry is very familiar with, given its durable, yet lightweight properties.

Hublot also showcased its Hublot Bing Bang Ferrari Unico, with its 45mm diameter case, recognizable Ferrari inscription, Unico manufacture movement, flyback chronograph with a column wheel and a minute counter at the 3 o’clock mark, resembling a rev counter, as well as a gear selector-inspired date window.
