While in Geneva, I got to meet with one of the biggest rock stars of Basel World, Vincent Perriard, the creator of the HYT Watch.

His first launch is the H1 Hydro Mechanical Watch. On the website, they describe the piece as an encounter between fine watchmaking and fluid mechanics. Basically, the watch performs and works on liquids. It has 65 hours of power reserve and the high tech watch movement boasts a liquid module thanks to two pistons moving the liquid in the tube. In one was an aqueous liquid filled with fluorescing, and in the other, a transparent viscous liquid. To keep them separate, the repulsive force of the molecules in each liquid, with a meniscus to mark the boundary between the two. It was created by Vincent Perriard of TechnoMarine and Bruno Moutarlier, the former Industrial Director of Audemars Piguet.

The watch comes in Black Titanium, Pink Gold, and Black Gold. Priced in the 60s to 70Ks, this watch will be a huge hit. This is a must own piece for someone with a high-end watch collection and will definitely get a lot of attention.
