De Bethune has created a 12-piece limited edition “spaceship-inspired” iPhone shield in polished and bead-blasted titanium as a tribute to the late Steve Jobs.

The Dream Watch IV dial is a hand-polished blued titanium with gold and diamond stars and features a raised, arrow-shaped “spine” that draws the eye to the silvered house and minute disks.

The beautiful Dream Watch IV comes after De Bethune’s impressive launch of the DBM, a crocodile cell phone case fitted with a traditional two-hand timepiece. De Bethune refers to this masterpiece as “a pocketwatch for the 21st century.”

De Bethune says the new Dream Watch IV both protects the owner’s iPhone and shields the owner from any “potentially damaging waves” emanating from the device. Using De Bethune’s DB21055 caliber with twin barrels and a silicon/platinum annular balance, the Dream Watch IV will be officially unveiled at the De Bethune exhibition at the Grand Lac salon of the Hotel des Berges in Geneva.

The exhibition will take place from January 15-20, 2012 during the SIHH.
