Breitling has worked with automaker Bentley since 2002, and this week they unveiled their latest collaboration. The Breitling for Bentley 6.75 Midnight Carbon timepiece pays tribute to the automaker’s biggest engine, the famous 6.75 litre behemoth that powers Mulsanne limousines.

This limited edition chronograph features a 49mm case in black steel, with a knurled bezel inspired by Bentley’s famous radiator grilles. The black dial features a vertical openworked motif that offers a glimpse of the Breitling Calibre 44B movement at its heart.

Functions include hours and minutes, a central 1/4th of a second chronograph hand, the date at 12 o’clock, small seconds at 3 o’clock, a 12-hour totalizer at 6 o’clock and a 30-minute totalizer at 9 o’clock. The caseback features a five-spoke motif inspired by the design of Bentley’s wheel rims, and is signed Breitling for Bentley. It is completed by a rubber strap with a central raised motif echoing that of the bezel.

Only 1,000 pieces of the Breitling for Bentley 6.75 Midnight Carbon will be produced.
