Meanwhile, the “Blancpain and Projet Gombessa” celebrates the manufacture’s ties to the underwater world, including Project Gombessa, a 40-day trip to South Africa where the manufacture teamed up with world-renowned biologist and underwater photographer Laurent Ballesta to capture the legendary bottom-dwelling sea creature called the coelacanth. The exhibition features deep sea dive video footage, photographs and original diving equipment.
