The spotlight at Formula 1 races has long been dominated by established watch sponsors such as IWC and Richard Mille, as well as the sport’s official timekeeper, TAG Heuer.

But in early 2024, the recently revived H. Moser & Cie. entered the paddock as Alpine F1’s global partner, marking the beginning of a surprisingly active collaboration.

Within months, the manufacture introduced the skeletonized Streamliner Alpine Drivers Edition and the inventive Streamliner Alpine Mechanics Edition, a hybrid mechanical-and-smartwatch designed for Alpine’s pit crew.

On October 1st 2025, Alpine’s lead driver Pierre Gasly unveiled the H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Tourbillon Pierre Gasly at the Grand Hyatt Singapore to considerable fanfare. Timed just two days before the Singapore Night Race, the Gasly-designed novelty reimagines Moser’s coveted Streamliner Tourbillon in 5N red gold with a rich chocolate fumé dial.

Alongside Moser’s Endeavour and Pioneer collections, the Streamliner has quickly risen to become one of the industry’s most lauded and sought-after integrated sports watches.

Two versions are offered: a rubber-strap model limited to 100 pieces and priced at USD 98,500, and a red gold bracelet edition limited to just 10 pieces at USD 148,500. The latter is furnished with a discreet ruby at 10 o’clock—a subtle nod to Gasly’s racing number.

“I was expecting Pierre to maybe request for a chronograph or skeletonized watch, but he was very specific that he wanted a Streamliner in red gold with a tourbillon,” recalls Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie.

“We offered Pierre several alternatives, but he kept coming back to the red gold Streamliner Tourbillon. Pierre had this idea of its color gradient changing from gold to chocolate then back to gold. And when he saw another custom Moser watch that had a diamond on one marker, he decided that his should have a ruby at 10 o’clock.”

Inside beats the automatic HMC 805 calibre, crafted in-house by the Meylan family-owned Precision Engineering AG. It drives a one-minute flying tourbillon and employs paired hairsprings to counteract positional errors caused by gravity and thermal expansion—a technical flourish that reflects both Moser’s independence and Gasly’s precision on track.

Pierre disclosed that the HMC 805 is his favorite movement, and that he picked the racing number 10 because of his football idol Zinedine Zidane. Meanwhile, Edouard revealed to Haute Time that he intends to continue his focus on Moser’s Streamliner, Endeavour and Pioneer lines.
