Despite the scaled-down size of this year’s Baselworld, some watch brands unveiled a solid assortment of luxury women’s watches geared towards the growing female watch enthusiast crowd. From brand new models to updates to familiar favorites, here are our top picks for the best ladies’ watches from Baselworld 2019.

Patek-Philippe-Nautilus-7118

Patek Philippe Rose Gold Nautilus

To accompany the highly popular Nautilus watches for men, Patek Philippe also makes an entire collection of their sports watch model for women. And for 2019, Patek Philippe added four new automatic ladies Nautilus watches to the line-up including two rose gold versions. The new Nautilus ref. 7118 watches differ from previous rose gold ladies’ Nautilus editions in that they have unadorned bezels rather than diamond-set ones on top of the 35.2 mm porthole-shaped case. Whether with a silvery opaline dial or a golden brown opaline dial—both featuring the wavy pattern distinct to the women’s Nautilus—these rose beauties will surely become fan favorites.

Hublot-Big-Bang-One-Click-39-Rainbow

Hublot Big Bang One Click 39 “Rainbow”

Hublot takes on the rainbow watch trend yet again this year with the new Big Bang One Click 39 “Rainbow,” flaunting a bezel set with 48 baguette-cut colored gemstones and a dial set with 307 colored gemstones. The kaleidoscope of colors even carries onto the rainbow-hued leather strap attached to this lavish gold and gem-set Hublot ladies’ watch. And as the “One Click” label implies, this new Big Bang 39 is equipped with Hublot’s clever strap switching system to permit the wearer to alternate between watch bands when the mood strikes.

2019-Chanel-J12-Black-Ceramic

Chanel J12

Easily one of the most popular luxury ladies’ watches of the last two decades, Chanel celebrates the J12’s 20th anniversary with a brand new movement. Beating inside the new Chanel J12 watches is the Caliber 12.1 automatic movement, made by Kenissi—a Geneva-based watch movement manufacturer that sold a 20% stake to Chanel earlier this year. Design-wise, the new Chanel J12 watches (available in either black or white) retain much of their iconic monochromatic look from their steel and ceramic 38 mm cases to their matching ceramic bracelets.

Graff yellow diamonds

Graff Oval Fancy Vivid Yellow Diamond Watch

A cocktail diamond watch to rule them all, Graff unveiled the spectacular Oval Fancy Vivid Yellow Diamond Watch as part of their Baselworld 2019 novelties. Fancy Vivid Yellow diamonds are the rarest type of diamonds and to source enough stones to create just one timepiece can take years. The high-jewelry watch shines bright with over 32 carats of glorious yellow diamonds, expertly set by hand on the 18k yellow gold surfaces.

Bulgari-Serpenti-Seduttori

Bulgari Serpenti Seduttori

At Baselworld 2019, Bulgari unveiled the entirely new Serpenti Seduttori collection as a modern reinterpretation of their famed Serpenti watch range. Featuring teardrop-shaped cases to mimic a serpent’s head and stylized hexagonal bracelet links to represent the creature’s scales, the Serpenti Seduttori certainly does not shy away from its snake inspiration. Bulgari’s new Serpenti Seduttori watches are exclusively available in gold, whether in white, gold, or rose, and each piece includes diamond embellishments—some more than others.

We couldn’t very well have round up of the best ladies’ watches from Baselworld 2019 without mentioning the magnificent Legacy Machine FlyingT. You can read about MB&F’s first watch dedicated to women here.
