Luxury fashion house Ralph Lauren have offered a first glimpse at their stunning new model from their Watch and Jewelry Co. The news comes in advance of the 2013 Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie, where the company will unveil the Sporting World Time Watch at the show, which runs from January 21-25.

Inspired by designer Ralph Lauren’s own love of travel and international exploration, the Ralph Lauren Sporting World Time watch is perfect for the well-dressed man who is always on the go. The Sporting World Time features an engraved disc displaying all 24 time zones, which allows the wearer to simultaneously display their local time as well as a second time zone. The wearer simply selects their new time zone from the disc with the simple turn of a crown located at the 10 o’clock. This timepiece also features a day/night indicator, a power-reserve display and a calendar.

The Sporting World Time’s 45mm-diameter stainless steel case houses a bezel featuring six functional screws, a deep blue varnished dial bearing Roman numerals, Breguet-shaped hands (enhanced by a bright red second hand) and railroad-style minute track. Through the sapphire crystal caseback the wearer can glimpse the watch’s Caliber RL939 (made by Jaeger-LeCoultre), which runs at 4 Hz (28,800 vibrations per hour) for a 40-hour power reserve. Côtes de Genève verticales, perlage finishing and a deep cobalt blue alligator strap and a matching pin buckle finish the look.
