Zenith opened its new concept boutique on one of Geneva’s busiest streets, the rue du rhône, on Monday December 19th.

Much more than a simple store, the Zenith boutique is a whole watchmaking world made draw in visitors to the Manufacture Zenith. the legendary firm that is still located in the exact spot where its founder Georges favre-Jacot first established it in 1865.

Following the concept boutique in Hong Kong, the Genva location will be the second concept boutique to feature the new design for Zenith’s points of sales. Even before you enter, you can tell that it is a special place. The outside boasts a geometrical storefront studded with glass panes and framed by two large stone columns both characteristics directly inspired by the architecture of the historical Zenith headquarters.

Once inside, the interior decoration of the boutique picks up the same play on horizontal and vertical lines as the outside window, interpreting it in displays, counters and exhibition areas. A private space has been developed especially to welcome the VIP customers while wenge wood combined with “Chantilly” stone, creates a constrasting deep chestnut brown and a luminous matt creamy shades throughout.

All the Zenith collections will be on hand to be admired, tried on and adopted in the new Geneva boutique including the Zenith Heritage Ultra Thin Lady Moonphase the sporty El Primero Striking 10TH  and the recently launched Academy Christophe Colomb, the first wrist chronograph featuring a movement housed within a miniaturised gyroscopic cage in order to neutralise its wearer’s movements.
