It’s called the Grandmaster Chime Reference 5175R, and according to Patek Philippe’s President, Thierry Stern the piece is the most complicated wristwatch that the company has ever made, after “seven years of hard work.”  It’s the first Patek Philippe double-face wristwatch that can be worn on either dial, and you’ll need a private meeting with Mr. Stern in order to qualify in buying this $2.6 million watch, limited to seven pieces. Here is how it was made, which explains its cost.
