Vacheron Constantin has partnered with the Consulate General of Switzerland in New York to host ThinkSwiss: Genève Meets New York, a week-long festival will take place from March 6-12, 2012.

Timed with the 300th birthday of Geneva-born philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau events will address topics that lie at the core of Swiss and American identity.

The partnership pays tribute to the Vacheron Constantin’s historic roots in Geneva and to its founder Jean-Marc Vacheron, whose life intersected with Rousseau’s during the Enlightenment.

The inaugural cocktail event will take place in New York March 6 hosted by Hugues de Pins, president of Vacheron Constantin, and Ambassador François Barras, Consul General of Switzerland.
