The Covid-19 pandemic is still making it difficult for a lot of people to travel, either for business or leisure. Travel restrictions change on an almost daily basis, proving it to be challenging even to plan a trip to countries you are currently permitted to go. Staycations are the new normal. In recent years it has become quite a thing for brands to launch a limited edition for a particular geographical region. In many ways, this is a smart strategy. It allows the brand to cater to local tastes, offer its clients and dealers there something exceptional and limited and therefore enable it to strengthen the brands present there. Both Jaeger-LeCoultre and Greubel Forsey have aimed at North America, each with a limited edition in which the color blue plays an important role.

The eyes of the world where once again on Hollywood, as the 76th edition of the Golden Globe Awards took place. There was fierce competition, as the quality of the nominated films and performances was very high. On the red carpet, there was also quite some competition on who dressed the most memorable. Many of Hollywood's finest knew perfectly to amplify their personal style with a dashing outfit. And of course, no outfit would be complete without a watch to match!

With our world getting more interconnected every day for some people this might not be enough. That is exactly what Jaeger-LeCoultre did earlier this year when it celebrated the 50th anniversary of the famed Memovox Polaris. Of course, does the line-up include a modern version of this iconic alarm watch, but Jaeger-LeCoultre let it accompanied by a world-time chronograph and a time-only model, as well as this chronograph version.
