This week the Swatch Group-owned Hour Passion opened a new location on London’s Oxford Street. The boutique, which is run by Swatch Group UK, is the second Hour Passion in Britain.

The 270 sq.m Hour Passion concept store, which opened on June 21, will carry timepieces from brands like Longines, Rado, Union Glashütte, Tissot, Calvin Klein Watches and Jewelry, Balmain, Hamilton, Certina, Mido and Swatch. The sleek space, which features stone, wooden floors, and stone tiles set against a backdrop of glass and polished surfaces, is divided in two levels. Each collection will be housed in its own individual retail space and, in the centre of the boutique, a lounge area will also be available as part of the shopping experience.

Nick Hayek, the President of the Swatch Group’s management board, told us, “The UK market and the British consumer are very important for us. We feel that they should be served in the most excellent way. That is why we decided to install a splendid new Hour Passion boutique in London carrying some of our finest brands.”

The Swatch Group’s retail company previously specialized in the sale of watches and jewelry in an airport environment, with 40 Hour Passion locations in seventeen European and Asian airports.

The store is on the corner of Oxford Street and Balderton Street. For more information please visit the Hour Passion website. Photo courtesy Hour Passion.
