Tennis star Roger Federer stepped off the court serve up a review of his impressive Rolex collection.
Federer talked about three of his pieces—surely just a small fraction of his collection—and pointed out what makes each special in the interview with Vijay Amritraj
He began with the Rolex Day-Date, his preferred evening piece. He calls it his go-to for dressy nighttime events. Federer moved on to a vintage piece, a 1981 Daytona. This special stainless steel timepiece was created the same year Federer was born, and Rolex gave it to him for his 30th birthday last year.
Finally, the Datejust. To call it a sentimental piece is an understatement: he wore it at the trophy ceremony for his 15th grand slam win.
