Richard Mille is going rogue with two dark additions to the visionary RM 030 line, known for its automatic movement with declutchable rotor. The Blackout and the Black Rose represent the most tenebrous pieces produced by the watch-making virtuoso to date.

RM 030 Black Rose
A case of rose gold distinguishes the case and bezel of the Black Rose.

The RM 030 Blackout plays itself out over a black canvas; a case of black DLC Titanium, a black inner bezel, black crown protector and a black rubber strap with deployant buckle. Contrasting in red, the date aperture, second hand, winding indicator and power reserve make reading the timepiece easy despite its dark theme.

The RM 030 Black Rose adds some light to the picture, with a case and bezel made of red gold and several red elements including the crown protector, date aperture, winding indicator, power reserve, as well the the hands for hours, minutes and seconds.

All RM 030 models feature a declutching rotor that protects the winding barrel from over-winding, inside a case measuring 50 mm x 42.70 mm x 13.95 mm. Only 30 pieces of each style will be produced and sold exclusively in the Americas.
