Piaget sponsors Independent Spirit Awards

For the sixth consecutive year, Piaget co-hosted the annual Independent Spirit Awards on the beach in Santa Monica. Guests included Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Helen Hunt, Matthew McConaughey, Jennifer Lawrence, Zoe Saldana and Paul Rudd, many of whom wore Piaget timepieces and jewelry. The awards recognize the actors, directors, producers, and writers who create artist-driven filmmaking. “At Piaget, we champion creativity and craft, and thus the Spirit Awards is a natural fit,” Philippe Leopold- Metzger, the CEO of Piaget, told us. In addition to sponsoring the ceremony, Piaget created the Producers Award, a $25,000 grant awarded to an emerging producer who demonstrates exceptional promise.
