Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal, two of the most talented players in the sport of tennis, are set to face off to determine who will be crowned champion of the US Open. While we wait for the Finals showdown at Arthur Ashe Stadium later today, we’re looking at the timepieces Djokovic and Nadal wear.

The upcoming match will be the 37th time Djokovic and Nadal face off. The two players each possess talent, drive and determination. Well, their timepieces measure up well too!

Men’s No. 1 seed Djokovic likes to switch it up, but is most often spotted wearing a Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph from Audemars Piguet. The Serbian superstar even appeared on the cover of Haute Living wearing an Audemars Piguet.

The Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph

The Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph is one of the most popular timepieces in the world of haute horlogerie, scoring Djokovic a major point there. However, Djokovic doesn’t typically wear the timepiece while he’s playing, whereas Nadal’s ultra-light RM 27-01 comes with him on court.

Rafael Nadal

Haute Time recently got to try on No. 2 seed Nadal’s RM 27-01 at the Richard Mille boutique in Beverly Hills, and we saw firsthand how wearable this piece really is, even during the most competitive tournaments. Plus, the RM 27-01 (the second in its series after the original RM 027) was made specifically for Nadal by Richard Mille. Game, set, match!

In all seriousness, we love these two timepieces, and we love these two tennis players. The epitome of good sportsmanship and genuine talent, Djokovic and Nadal will make for an amazing match at the 2013 US Open championship!
