Luxury watchmaker Linde Werdelin has released the limited edition new SpidoLite II Gold. This series is part of the Swiss manufacture’s SpidoLite family. The piece will be available exclusively in Linde Werdelin’s North America authorized retailers.

The SpidoLite II Gold features a skeletonised case crafted entirely crafted in titanium, with an 18K rose gold crown and rose gold detailing on the dial. Like the original SpidoLite family, the case and dial construction of the SpidoLite II Gold were inspired by racing cars’ weight reduction technology. The entire case bears hand satin finished facets and details in microbillé.

The dial consists of two skeletonized layers. The Côtes de Genève lower dial carries the Linde Werdelin logo, while the upper dial is in a rose gold color with luminant indexes, as well as the three hands. The numerals of the skeletonised black calendar wheel have been amplified, enhancing date readability.

At the heart of the SpidoLite II Gold is the LW 04 caliber 2251, a custom-made movement by the La Chaux de Fonds-based Concepto independent movement manufacture. The movement is visible through the dial as well as through the sapphire crystal caseback. The front and back of the movement are finished with a circular perlage and engraved with the Spido icon. The black rotor bears a rose gold Linde Werdelin logo type. All the screws in the movement are blued steel, a highly anti-corrosive material.

The SpidoLite II Gold, which retails for US$12,900, is limited to a 15 piece edition.
