Jay Z is expanding his empire. The rapper, whose luxury lifestyle brands span everything from clothing to a record label and a collaboration with Hublot, has teamed up with Cohiba to create his own cigar line, Comador.

For premium cigar aficionados, Cohiba will be a familiar name. Although Americans are technically forbidden from partaking in Cuba’s famous cigars, Cohiba manages to straddle the divide. The company is split into two brands; one produced in Cuba for Habanos S.A. (the country’s state-owned tobacco company), and the other produced in the Dominican Republic for the American-owned brand General Cigar Company. Jay Z’s collaboration is with the General Cigar Company.

As a result, Jay Z’s super-premium Comador cigars are created by the master blenders of Cohiba with proprietary tobaccos from the world’s most revered growing regions. Handcrafted in Santiago, Comador is adorned with a rare Connecticut Havana wrapper prized for its exquisite flavor and deep, lustrous appearance.

Fans of the rapper can purchase the pebbled-leather Comador Humidor containing 21 cigars ($999), a Comador Travel Humidor lined with fragrant Spanish cedar housing 7 cigars ($350), or the hard-sided matte black Comador Toro Box containing 7 cigars ($210).
