Luxury watch manufacturer Jaeger-LeCoultre extends its support of cinematic art by announcing a multi-year partnership with the Film Society of Lincoln Center and the launch of the upcoming Filmmaker in Residence initiative.

“We are thrilled to be working with Jaeger-LeCoultre, and excited to share such an important initiative as the Filmmaker in Residence program with such an esteemed partner,” said Rose Kuo, Executive Director of the Film Society of Lincoln Center. “The new initiative will allow the Film Society and Jaeger-LeCoultre to both deepen their support for filmmakers and offer that support at an earlier stage in the creative process.”

The two are joining forces just in time for the organization’s most prestigious annual events — the 40th Annual Chaplin Award Gala, which will honor Barbara Streisand, and the 51st New York Film Festival.

“Creating a dedicated program for cinema with the Film Society of Lincoln Center is a privilege for Jaeger-LeCoultre,” said CEO Jérôme Lambert. “This partnership will serve as a U.S. anchor for Jaeger-LeCoultre at the crossroads of culture in America.”
