At this year’s Venice International Film Festival, Jaeger-LeCoultre  paid tribute to once of cinema’s most prolific living directors. On September 9th, actress Chiara Mastroianni presented the Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory of the Filmmaker Award  to American director Brian De Palma on behalf of the watch brand and the festival.

Following the prestigious ceremony, the festival screened the world premiere of the documentary De Palma by Noah Baumbach and Jake Paltrow. The film chronicles ten years worth of conversations between De Palma and the two directors, resulting in an intimate tribute to his six decade long career, as well as a look inside his life and filmmaking process.
