Since 1738 Jaquet Droz has been a leader in the innovation and furthering of watch technology and design originally established by genius founder Pierre Jaquet-Droz. In celebration of the last 275 years of expert craftsmanship and cutting edge design, Jaquet Droz will be traveling the world to celebrate, and after a slew of trips to Moscow, Basel, Shang Hai, Hong Kong, and Macau, the company finds itself on U.S. soil. Jaquet Droz introduces the Enchanted Journey Exhibit this fall to the Shops at Crystals in Las Vegas, introducing Americans to the inner workings of Swiss watchmaking to demonstrate how Jaquet Droz has managed to to preserve its lineage and impeccable reputation.

The exhibit examines the brand’s relationship between its classic 18th century and contemporary pieces. The workshop proudly shows off icons, automatas, and models from the Jacquet Droz workshop revealing hand-crafted and mini-painted watches. The watches are shown side by side with enamel, precious stones, and minerals used in custom dials.

The exhibit opened up on September and can be found in front of the Tourbillon Boutique. On opening day the visitors got to see a Jaquet Droz painter in action, demonstrating hand engraving techniques and miniature painting.
