While IWC is heralded for a long reputation as a premiere Swiss watch manufacturer, not many know that the brand was actually founded by an American, Florentine. And in honor of the 1868 creation of Ariosto Jones, the fine timepiece house has focused its expansion efforts on none other than the US.

Good for us, I’d say.

Hot on the heels of IWC’s most recent outpost—a flagship boutique on New York City’s, Madison Avenue—the expansion continues. This time an exquisitely designed IWC boutique lends its name to Miami’s very own high-end shopping destination, Bal Harbour Shops. ‘‘Bal Harbour Shops is a natural location for IWC, given its reputation as an iconic luxury destination. The opening of our new boutique is an exciting moment for IWC and showcases the dedication to our customers,” explains IWC Brand President of North America, Gianfranco D’Attis.

For fans of the brand and those who are about to fall in love, the local boutique means direct access not only to any of the timepieces belonging to the company’s six watch families, but also to the range of special editions available exclusively in IWC boutiques.

As Haute Living readers, we know how you feel about rare models to add to your flourishing collection, so we invite you to take a twirl around the beautifully edited boutique and pick up what’s sure to be your new favorite piece of wristwear.
