Today Hublot and Ferrari both celebrated the 30th anniversary of their presence in Hong Kong. In honor of these dual anniversaries, Hublot Chairman Jean-Claude Biver and Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo presented the Big Bang Ferrari Hong Kong Limited Edition. Limited to a 30-piece edition, this timepiece features a bright red ceramic bezel, in honor of both Ferrari and Hong Kong.

The Big Bang Ferrari Hong Kong Limited Edition is the first timepiece featuring the new brightly colored ceramic (the subject of an international patent application) developed by Hublot.

Meanwhile, the 45.5mm case is in traditional black ceramic, housing a sapphire dial with a white Hublot logo transfer and a rhodium-plated Ferrari prancing horse applique. The dial features a red chronograph hand and minute counter. The indexed crown features elongated push buttons.

The sapphire crystal caseback offers a view of the 330-component flyback chronograph movement. Developed and manufactured in-house by Hublot, the HUB 1241 Unico movement boasts a 72 hour power reserve. The column wheel and dual horizontal coupling are visible through the sapphire dial. The case back of the watch also features the Prancing Horse.

The Big Bang Ferrari Hong Kong Limited Edition is completed by two interchangeable straps; one black Schedoni leather and the other black rubber, with red stitching. An innovative quick-change system inspired by the safety seatbelt mechanism allows the owner to alternate easily between the two.
