Luxury watchmakers Hublot are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Miami HEAT. The famous basketball team was presented with an official wall-clock at their AmericanAirlines Arena home court, while Hublot also unveiled a limited edition Hublot 25th Anniversary Miami HEAT collection of watches using the traditional Miami HEAT team colors.

Haute Living teamed up with the Swiss manufacture to host a VIP lunch at Il Gabbiano, where HEAT forward Shane Battier treated watch enthusiasts and fans to a Q&A with the event’s guest of honor, team owner Micky Arison. Festivities continued on at the Motown Revue, an annual HEAT fundraiser hosted by Madeleine & Micky Arison and Pat & Chris Riley. The event, held at the home of Mike and Constance Fernandez in Gables Estates, was attended by the entire HEAT team, as well as Hublot ambassador Dwyane Wade. There, guests were treated to a special performance by iconic Motown groups The Four Tops and The Temptations. Meanwhile, a live auction saw two incredible prizes go under the gavel; the first limited edition Hublot 25th Anniversary Miami HEAT timepiece, along with a championship bottle of Moet, was auctioned off for $101,000, while a trip to the Hublot factory in Nyon, Switzerland was auctioned off for $51,000. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Miami HEAT Charitable fund.

Only twenty-five numbered Hublot 25th Anniversary Miami HEAT watches will be produced, with a portion of proceeds from the sale of each watch also going to benefit the Miami HEAT Charitable Fund. Ricardo Guadalupe, the CEO of Hublot, told us of the company’s connection to the city, “The electricity in Miami is second to none. The combination of the enthusiastic fans along with the energy and passion of the organization is exactly why we collaborated with the Miami HEAT, our first sports partnership in the US. This collaboration continues to reinforce Hublot’s philanthropic strategy and success. When we – with Jean-Claude Biver, Chairman of Hublot – heard it was the 25th Anniversary, we simply had to commemorate it with this beautiful limited edition set. The Hublot 25th Anniversary Miami HEAT Limited Edition collection celebrates this relationship and offers a distinctive way for Miami HEAT fans to connect with the team through the Hublot brand.”

The men’s version of the Hublot 25th Anniversary Miami HEAT collection watch begins with a 44mm-diameter case of polished and satin-finished black ceramic, with a microblasted black ceramic bezel. A 252-component HUB 4100 self-winding chronograph movement can be glimpsed through a trapezoid window at 4.30. Meanwhile, the women’s version begins with a 41mm-diameter case of polished and satin-finished black ceramic case with a black PVD 18K white gold bezel set with 42 red spinels. Inside beats a 287-component HUB1145 self-winding chronograph movement. The look of both the men’s and women’s watches is completed by an exclusive 25th anniversary Miami HEAT emblem at 9 o’clock, as well as a strap made of black rubber and Hornback crocodile with red stitching.

The Hublot 25th Anniversary Miami HEAT collection will be available for purchase exclusively at the Hublot Boutique in the Shops at Bal Harbour, from April to May. The Bal Harbour boutique is located at 9700 Collins Ave, Bal Harbour, FL 33154.
