This week, Haute Time selected an absolutely stunning timepiece from the Patek Philippe Ladies Complications Collection that debuted at Baselworld 2014, The Calatrava Moon Phase (REF. 7121/1J-001) in Yellow Gold. With a new selection of Moon Phase pieces released this year, this piece is one of our favorites from Baselworld.

As with the men’s timepieces, complications are also important to the women who wear Patek Philippe. The new Calatrava Moon Phase features a Caliber 215 PS LU manually wound movement, this version of the Calatrava is a show stopper. The movement is equipped with a 30-44 hour power reserve and is housed in a 33mm 18k, yellow gold case with a sapphire crystal and case back.

The bezel of The Calatrava Moon Phase is adorned with 66 diamonds totalling .52cts. The dial is a crisp silvery white with applied gold Breguet numerals which also accent the dial beautifully along with gold markers and hours and minutes hands. The moonphase is displayed at 6 o’clock on the dial and displays the moon and stars detailed in gold as well, along with the small seconds counter. All the elements come together creating a most elegant design to suit any occasion.

The new Patek Philippe Calatrava Moon Phase in Yellow Gold is fitted with an 18ct yellow gold bracelet with a fold over clasp and is also water-resistant to 30 meters.
