Haute Time Russia recently had the opportunity to visit the new Cartier boutique in Moscow. The two-story, 751-meter shop, which opened last December, is the brand’s second largest in the world after Cartier’s Dubai boutique.

However, its large footprint is not the only thing it has to boast about; the decor is simply stunning. Haute Time Russia‘s photographer was so fascinated by the boutique’s elegant interior, she couldn’t stop until she captured its every nook!

During our visit we also got a look at some beautiful timepieces and limited editions. Here’s an exclusive look at our favorites:

Cartier-20
Calibre de Cartier Diver Watch
This piece, Cartier’s first diving watch, was released this year at SIHH. The rose gold case measures only 42mm in diameter and 11mm in thickness, making this diver’s watch one of the slimmest on the market. It’s an outstanding feature for this ISO-certified dive watch, which also boasts a water resistance up to 300 meters. Its thinness also means the Calibre de Cartier Diver is also ideal for everyday wear. The main feature of all divers watches, a unidirectional bezel for setting the dive limit time, is featured here in steel with an ADLC abrasion-resistant coating.

Cartier-34
Ballon Bleu de Cartier Flying Tourbillon 2nd Time Zone
This tourbillon timepiece with double jumping second time zone has been designed like a regulator. The timepiece features two jumping hour counters; one for the local time at 10 o’clock, and one for a second time zone at 2 o’clock. The flying tourbillon, with a hidden mounting and small seconds, is located in the lower part of the dial. The tourbillon’s carriage features Cartier’s trademark “C”. The white gold case measures 46.4mm, and is curved in such a way that it feels comfortable on the wearer’s wrist. The mechanical Manufacture 9456 MC Calibre movement, certified with the Poinçon de Genève, is visible through the matte openworked dial and the sapphire crystal caseback. Only 50 pieces were produced worldwide, and we saw number 16 in Moscow.

Cartier-38
Calibre de Cartier Central Chronograph
This chronograph, with central functions display, accommodates Cartier’s mechanical Calibre 9907 MC with manual winding. The second hand begins to move when the start push-piece is pressed, while a large counter in the form of an arc with two tracks and a hand with two levers of different lengths records each of its revolutions, up to thirty minutes. The first 15 minutes are tracked on the inner ring, while the rest are tracked on the outer disk. The absence of traditional counters makes the dial more eclectic, minimalistic and readable. It is housed in a 45mm white gold case.

Cartier-26
Ballon Bleu de Cartier Extra-Flat
By unveiling this timepiece three years ago, Cartier responded to their customers’ growing demand for ultra-thin watches. Though this piece features an impressive 46mm diameter, its rose gold case is only 7.05mm thick, meaning it can easily slip under the cuff. At its heart is a Cartier manufacture manual wound movement, which boasts hour and minute functions. This ultra-thin model expresses itself easily, thanks to the absence of a seconds hand and a date indicator, which are featured on the automatic Ballon Bleu timepiece.

Cartier-24
Rotonde de Cartier 42mm Turtle Motif in Stone Mosaic
This rare limited edition, of which only 10 individually numbered timepieces were produced, was first presented at SIHH in 2011. We saw number four, as evidenced by the engraved “4/10” on the caseback. The micro-mosaic turtle motif on the dial is made by hand from different precious stones: onyx, tiger’s eye, carnelian, jasper, agate, coral and mother-of-pearl, which the craftsman splits and then cuts into 0.75 mm squares, 0.4 mm thick. In total the mosaic is comprised of 1167 individual fragments. The case is in 18K pink gold and set with 68 round diamonds, totaling 1.39 carats. The timepiece houses a manufacture mechanical Calibre 9601 MC with manual winding and two hands.
